Audition & Tuition Fees: $50 Deposit
(The balance of $150 will be due at the first rehearsal if you make the cast.)

The Nutcracker Audition Details
Friday, September 18th

Auditions are open to the public
Depending on your role, a rehearsal schedule will be sent home upon casting
Audition Times:
AGES 6-8
5:30-6:15pm
(check-in between 5-5:30pm)
AGES 9-11
6:15-7:15pm
(check-in between 5:45-6:15pm)
AGES 12+
7:15-8:15pm
(check-in between 6:45-7:15pm) Pointe work preferred
*All auditionees will be considered for battle scene roles
**Pointe Shoes encouraged, but not necessary, for the 7:15pm audition
Can’t make your audition time? No problem! Email a video to [email protected] of the role you wish to audition for, or of you simply dancing, to be considered. Videos must be received no later than Saturday, September 11th.

Full rehearsal calendar will be given prior to the first day of rehearsals, which is Sept. 20th.
🎉 PLEASE NOTE: There is no specific audition for the party scene, but we would love to hear of any interest from actors, parents, siblings, etc! Minimal dancing required for this scene.
Tech Week/Dress Rehearsals (Required):
Students must be available for all rehearsals and performances and will be excused from any classes at TF if applicable.

About The Talent Factory & The Nutcracker Experience
At The Talent Factory, we believe in more than just teaching dance — we build confidence, community, and creativity through the performing arts. For over 23 years, our North Kingstown studio has been a home for young performers to dream big, shine bright, and grow both on and off the stage.
This winter, we’re proud to present a magical production of The Nutcracker, open to all students — whether you're already part of our studio family or joining us for the first time.
This experience is designed to give dancers of all levels the opportunity to perform in a festive, storybook setting while developing teamwork, stage presence, and a love for performing. No prior dance experience is required — just enthusiasm and a willingness to try something new.

Current students: The Nutcracker is a bonus opportunity beyond your regular Recital. It's designed to enhance your training — not replace your weekly classes.

My daughter began at Talent Factory four years ago. We have been immensely happy with the level of training and support she has received.
